AWPSI – Multilingual Advocacy Booklet & Brochure Design

We designed and localized a comprehensive advocacy booklet and institutional brochure for the African Women Peace and Security Institute (AWPSI) to support their national call for integrating peace education into Ethiopia’s education system.

The project aimed to transform detailed research findings, curriculum assessments, and policy recommendations into visually compelling and strategically structured publications for policymakers, education leaders, development partners, and civil society organizations.

Scope of Work

• Content structuring and editorial layout design

• Visual hierarchy and typography system development

• Infographic-style presentation of research insights

• Policy-focused design formatting for advocacy use

• Brand alignment and professional print production

• Full translation and localization into Afan Oromo, Afar, Somali, and Tigrigna

Beyond design, we ensured accurate translation and culturally appropriate formatting across all four regional languages, maintaining visual consistency and readability in each version. This multilingual adaptation expanded the accessibility and inclusivity of AWPSI’s advocacy materials, enabling engagement with diverse regional stakeholders and communities.

The final outputs strengthened AWPSI’s communication strategy, enhanced institutional credibility, and amplified the reach of their peace education reform initiative nationwide.
